You may like to have one of our volunteers visit you every week for a cup of tea and chat or you might just call on us when you need help with a particular job or problem.
All volunteers have been checked by the Criminal Records Bureau and they all carry identification.
Bicester Good Neighbour volunteers do not replace carers and are not able to provide personal care. They are not able to assist people experiencing severe mental health problems.
If you would like to be visited by one of our helpful volunteers you can call us to arrange a visit.
The office is open from 8.30am to 4pm on Monday to Friday. Call us on 01869 242 808 To ensure that people who use the service and our volunteers stay safe, we will ask you to provide us with information such as emergency contact details, whether you have any special needs and some safety questions about your home environment. All information is kept confidential at all times.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer and helping older people in your community please call us to find out more. The Bicester Volunteer Scheme is run by volunteers based at the Bicester Resource Centre on Launton Road in Bicester.
