Bicester Leisure Centre

The town’s main sports centre is Bicester and Ploughley Sports Centre which was opened in March 1970 and has recently undergone a major refurbishment and now includes the following:

• New six lane Ten-Pin Bowling facility with social and amusement facilities.
• An independent entrance for the Ten-Pin bowling facility
• New high quality fitness and exercise studio combined in a two storey facility with interlinking stairway
• New dedicated young people's gym
• New changing village for the swimming pools
• New crèche
• New ground floor dry sports changing rooms
• New wet health suite adjacent to swimming pool (sauna, spa, steam room and treatment rooms)
• Improved traffic management and car parking
• Minor refurbishment of dry sports areas and pools
• New entrance and refurbishment to reception
• Refurbishment of Café
• Existing play and teaching pool and main pool retained
• Existing sports hall retained with new storage
• Improved access with new ground floor link corridor
• New staff and office facilities
• 3 squash courts
• Outdoor multi sports courts retained
