    Communication and Access to Bicester

    Bicester is ideally situated with easy access to London, Birmingham, the south coast and the channel ports and tunnel. It is central to a host of road and rail networks and airports.

    Bicester is 16 miles south-east of Banbury, 17 miles north-west of Aylesbury, 12 miles southwest of Buckingham and 13 miles north-east of the University city and county administrative town of Oxford. London is 57 miles away travelling on the M40. The channel port of Dover is some 165 miles away and that of Southampton being some 80 miles away.

    ROAD

    Bicester is situated 3 miles from junction 9 of the M40 and is just one hour north of London and one hour south of Birmingham. Continual improvements to connecting trunk roads assist in shorter travelling times namely A41 to Aylesbury and A43 to Milton Keynes, Silverstone and Northampton. The A421 from Bicester leads to Buckingham and A34 to Oxford and down as far as Winchester and Portsmouth.
