Unlocking Potential in Cherwell

In November 2017, Bicester Vision participated in a panel discussion at Bicester Technology Studio. The topic for discussion was Unlocking the Potential of the M40 Corridor for Cherwell.

With over 20,000 new homes earmarked for the District over the duration of the Local Plan, Cherwell is moving into a period of growth which can attract new opportunities for investment and employment creation. But what role can the supply chain and logistics industry play in the District’s future? What are the industry’s growth prospects? And what types of jobs can it create?
In this one-off event, industry specialist and local stakeholders discuss the future of the supply chain and logistics sector and explore what kind of future it can have in Cherwell. Our panel also shared their views on how the District could overcome some major challenges over the coming years and build a more prosperous economy.
