Activate Learning Education Trust

Activate Learning Education Trust (ALET) is a Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) established by Activate Learning in 2015.

We transform lives through learning by providing exciting and innovative education for young people by looking at how we learn as well as what we learn.

Activate Learning is the sponsor for Activate Learning Education Trust, which is run with the support of a number of industry and academic partners.

Activate Learning is a pioneering education group with a distinctive approach to learning.

The group includes secondary, further and higher education, apprenticeship and workforce training, consultancy, commercial, business and social enterprise.

We are united by a common purpose – to transform lives through learning. Our international network of learning organisations offers our learners access to the best facilities and resources and an innovative learning and teaching experience.

OUR INTERNATIONAL DIVISION

  • Saudi Arabia: Activate Learning is working with members of The Oxford Partnership to manage four further education colleges in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
  • China: We are working in partnership with OriginSight to provide opportunities for full-time international students and to deliver teacher training programmes
  • Malaysia, Myanmar, Indonesia, Taiwan, Sri Lanka and Vietnam: We provide accreditation for vocational training programmes to help raise standards of teaching, learning and assessment in these countries.

Activate Learning is working with members of Bicester Vision to support the economic wellbeing of the town and ensure that it has the skills required to realise its future growth plans.

We are working locally via:

  • Banbury and Bicester College: our Bicester campus is a national centre of excellence for motorsport engineering. Located in the heart of motorsport valley our former students have gone on to work for every Formula 1 team in the country. Programmes include those for school leavers apprentices and a foundation degree accredited by Oxford Brookes University.
  • The Bicester School Activate Learning: the academy sponsor for The Bicester School, a good school with a vision to provide a high achieving, stimulating and creative learning environment with a caring, compassionate and challenging ethos.
