Great Wolf Lodge is a leading brand of family resorts in the US that promotes a fully integrated experience anchored by an indoor waterpark.

We’re a conscientious developer and are thrilled to have the opportunity to come to this community.

North America’s largest owner, operator and developer of family-oriented indoor waterpark resorts, Great Wolf Lodge opened its first resort in Wisconsin Dells in 1997. Bicester has been selected for the first European resort due to its proximity to London and between other major urban centres, as well as links to the motorway network.

Great Wolf Lodge in Chesterton near Bicester will provide a one-of-a-kind family resort experience with an incredible array of attractions, entertainment offerings and dining options all under one roof, creating an easy and fun-filled getaway families can enjoy together.

Following the granting of planning permission, we have now completed the purchase of the property on which we plan to develop our first Great Wolf Lodge indoor water park resort outside of North America. We are commencing with detailed design ahead of works starting on site, with a target completion of late 2024.

This represents the beginning of a £200 million investment by Great Wolf Resorts into the local community and economy, which includes the creation of 1,000 jobs during the construction phase and approximately 600 jobs when in operation.

We want to hear from our neighbours and work in partnership to create a family resort that will boost the local economy and benefit the local community.

We’re looking forward to welcoming local families to the resort once open and plan to provide discounted passes for local residents to experience the Great Wolf Lodge facilities.
