Green Tuesdays series of events launch

Bicester Green Sustainability Centre is launching an exciting new series of autumn evening events called ‘Green Tuesdays’. The organisers hope to make Bicester Green the place to be on Tuesdays evenings from 7 until 9pm with a programme of fun and practical sessions open to all, including:

Makers & Fixers evenings in the workshop: come and learn different repair and upcycling techniques, work on your own projects, or practice on some of our pieces (primarily small furniture/artistic projects). The fully equipped workshop with useful materials and tools will be available and skilled tutors will be on hand to help you bring your ideas into reality. Some weeks there will be a specific focus for those who wish, such as basic woodwork tool use, basic joinery, upholstery, decoupage. Suitable for complete beginners to experts!

Film and discussion evenings in our meeting room: watch stimulating films in a relaxed atmosphere, with refreshments included, with lively debate encouraged afterwards. Titles to be announced, but all will be films you are never likely to see at the mainstream cinema.

Fix/service your bike evenings in the workshop: with expert advice and help, plus use of tools and equipment.
