Businesses are being offered the chance to promote and fill existing vacancies for free at the Bicester Job Fair.On Friday, 17 October, Cherwell District Council will host the event at the John Paul II Centre in Causeway to help bring jobseekers and employers together under one roof.It is hoped the event will replicate the success of the recent Banbury Job Fair held in September, when a record number of organisations and jobhunters attended the event.Cllr Norman Bolster, lead member for economy and estates, said: “At last month’s Banbury Job Fair we had almost 250 people turn up looking to fill the vacancies being advertised by 26 different local organisations. We are now eager to repeat this success in Bicester and help even more people to find their dream job and help companies find the right recruit for their vacancy.”By signing up to the event, employers will be given a unique opportunity to promote their jobs for free, speak directly to potential candidates and have the opportunity to network with other companies. It’s a win-win situation all round.”Employers taking part in the event will have the opportunity to host a stand for free advertising current vacancies and providing visitors with the chance to speak directly to their representatives. The event will take place at the John Paul II Centre in Causeway, Bicester from 10.30am – 2.30pm on Friday, 17 October. For more information or to sign up call 01295 221863 or email info@banburyjobclub.com
