Sainsbury’s is calling all members of the Bicester community – are you looking to learn some new and exciting cookery skills, know more about food preparation or get some new recipe ideas?
In the lead up to the opening of the new Sainsbury’s store in Bicester, Sian Fox, an experienced member of Sainsbury’s Try Team, will be coming to town to demonstrate some of Sainsbury’s healthy recipes using ingredients which will be available in the new Bicester store. Sian is a self-confessed foodie and her mission is to get Bicester cooking!
Sian is keen to demonstrate how to prepare affordable healthy family meals and dinners for one with simple dishes such as omelettes through to something a bit more fancy. Her team will also demonstrate how to prepare cuts of meat and fish for those who want to develop more specialist skills. People will be able to watch and learn as Sian cooks and even get involved!
Sian would like to hear from local clubs, charities and community groups in the Bicester area, who would like to host an event where she can demonstrate how simple, fresh ingredients can be turned into delicious meals in minutes. Groups would be welcome to use the event to raise funds for their own charities or as part of their programme.
Sian has cooked alongside Jamie Oliver, the original Calendar Girls and even for the contestants in the X Factor house, and has more than a few tips and tales to pass on!
All ingredients and equipment needed for the day are provided and there is no charge for this service. For readers who would like to get in touch with Sian, she can be reached on 07584 481 119 or by email on
